"The is a non-profit organization that deals with road infrastructure construction and management issues. 

The Association comprises four categories of members:

Governments (Ministries)
Regional Authorities
Collective Members
Individual Members

The new Strategic Plan 2004-2007 sets the organization structure and the terms of reference of all Technical Committees grouped according to four Strategic Themes:

Governance and Management of the Road System
Sustainable Mobility
Safety and Road Operations
Quality of Road Infrastructure.

 

In addition, the activities of the Committee on Terminology and Translation Assistance, being related to all Technical Committees, are placed under the supervision of the Communication Commission."

The National Committee of Greece comprises of two representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works (MEPPPW), one representative of "Egnatia Odos A.E", one representative of the Association of Class H Construction Companies (STEHT) and one representative of the Hellenic Association of Consulting Firms (SEGM). 

Greek representatives during period 2004-2007, will be involved in the following Technical Committees :

Road Safety
Tunnel Operations
Road Pavements
Bridges and Related Structures
Earthworks, Drainage and Subgrade
