PIARC ÔECHNICAL COMMITTEE C3.3
"ROAD TUNNELS OPERATION"
C3.3 technical committee deals with road tunnels
operation in the context of PIARC's strategic theme ST3 :
"Safety and Road Operations".
The main objectives of the C3.3 for the current
period 2004-2007 are :
- to provide safer tunnels,
- to improve the operation and maintenance of tunnels,
- ventilation and fire supression of fires in tunnels,
- human behaviour and its role in tunnel safety
To achieve the above goals and implement the
targets that have been set, C3.3 has established the following
working groups :
