Sergios Lambropoulos was born in Athens in 1948. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering (National Technical University of Athens) and in Economics (University of Athens). He also has a MSc in Management Science (Imperial College) and a PhD in Project Management. In the past he has been Public Works Contractor, Vice President of the Greek Road Fund, Visiting Professor at the Katholic University of Leuven (KUL) and Technical Expert at the Directorate General for Transport of the European Commission.He is Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens and General Manager of "EGNATIA ODOS S.A."
