1984 - 1987: Engineer at the Directorate of Technical Works Designs (General Secretariat for Public Works - MEPPW), responsible for the review and approval of a considerable number of pre-studies and definitive studies for bridges

1987 - 1996: Engineer at the Directorate of Road Works (Department of Motorways and Special Works), General Secretariat for Public Works - MEPPW. Person responsible for the promotion of the implementation of major projects, such as the Rio-Antirio Link, the Aktio-Preveza Link, the new bridge at the Isthmus of Corinth, the Maliakos Gulf Link.

1996 - 2002: Engineer at the Special Service for Public Works for the Patra-Athens-Thessaloniki-Evzonoi Motorway, (General Secretariat for Public Works - MEPPW), responsible -within the context of the Design Department- for the review and approval of designs for bridges, tunnels and other structures along the motorway, as well as for other relevant technical matters.

2003 - : Head of the Works Monitoring Department at the Special Service for Public Works for the Road Axes Under Concession Contracts, General Secretariat for Public Works - MEPPW.

Scientific and other relevant activities:

1977 - : Author of 31 scientific and other publications. Member of scientific Work Groups

1986 - 1987: Member of the Experts Group responsible for the preparation of Draft Specifications for the Trans-European North-South Motorway

1989 - 1995: Member of the Scientific Committee for the Engineering of Constructions, Technical Chamber of Greece

1989 - : Member of the Hellenic Organisation for Standardisation (ELOT) Technical Committee TC67 "Eurocodes" and National Representative for the preparation of the Eurocode: "Actions on Structures" within the context of the competent Sub-committee CEN/TC250/SC1

1991- 1996: Secretary of the Greek National Committee of the World Road Association (PIARC)
